THE HANCOCK STORY BEGINS

The Hancock story begins in the early 1900’s with Grandpa Robert S. Hancock from Nova Scotia, who was an Outfitter/Guide in the North Woods of Maine and Canada. Bruce’s father, Robert J. Hancock, also an avid hunter, taught Bruce and older brother Bob, how to hunt, fish and respect the outdoor lifestyle. Bruce’s love for hunting began hunting rabbits and grey squirrels, then grew to whitetail deer in the late 1960’s. Bruce’s admiration for hunting sparked his imagination that inspired him to make his first deer calls out of hand-carved tree branches, rubber bands, and kite string. His passion for game calls grew and developed into an early game call invention in 1994 that was eventually patented in 2000. This prestigious privilege has afforded Bruce the acclaimed honor of having the World’s Most Versatile Handheld Wildlife Game Call! One Call Does It All!

4-TIME AWARD WINNER – DOMINATOR CALL®

Bruce’s most notable achievement!

The Dominator Call® won first place when making the call sounds for Elk, Deer, Predator, and Turkey in the state of Washington, at The KBH Bowhunters Rendezvous Game Calling event.

What made this event very unusual was that the DOMINATOR CALL® took first place using just ONE call for ALL the events.  The judges were placed inside a wall tent blind to all the contestants with the contestants being assigned random numbers for each event to eliminate any advantage over one another.  Each contestant was asked to demonstrate their best animal sound for each species class.  When completed, the judges came out and announced the numbers. Bruce Hancock, with Hancock Outdoors, took first place for Elk, Deer, Predator, and Turkey.  We know of no one else in America that has ever achieved this success using just one game call!  One Call Definitely Does It All!
